Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCT)
MBCT like CBT utilizes mindfulness to help learn how to slow down and focus on the here and now.
Mindfulness helps us to bring awareness to how we are currently feeling and what is causing us to feel this way.
It helps to slow down your thoughts and learn how to separate your thinking and feelings to be able to find more effective solutions.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a psychotherapy treatment that is designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories.
